My father, Clarence Stilson, started building model steam engines in the 1960's. He was a tool and die maker for Eastman Kodak Company for many years. He built many models of Stuart engines, copied engine design from various sources. He made many of his own casting patterns. We have kept his collection intact within the family.
Our interest, began in the 1970's and continues today. We have enlarged the original collection to include toy stationary steam engines and accessories. Our eclectic interest is mainly American manufacturers of steam toys.
